Brightstream sat in the shade of a young pine tree, though the ground wasn't comfy to sit on due to all of the pine cones and sharp needles. But for once she didn't seemed to mind, for she was busy thinking and staring at a Twoleg nest that stood a few fox-lenghts away. In this nest lives a special Twoleg or 'human' known as Emma Rosenhire((not sure if I spelled that right)) that can speak cat! She remembered when they first met as clearly as if it was yesterday.
She had wondered to close to the Twoleg clearing, and that's when she ran into Emma. Ever since that day they became friends. But she didn't tell anyone for a long time. Until on the night of rescuing the wolfpack was when she introduce her human friend to, not just her own Clan, but all of the Clans. She started laughing as she remembered the reaction of the cats. Then she frowned when she remembered how her Clan treated her after the discovery of her friend. But fortunally most of it blew over, and her leader has given her permission to meet her friend once in a while. Which is why she was here. To visit her friend.
After a while of sitting and staring, she stood up, shook off the pine needles, and padded out of the cover of the trees. As she entered the backyard, her pace slowed to cautious steps and she glance from side to side. Even though she has been here several times, she always felt the need to be careful whenever she entered Twolegplace.
When she finally reached the house, she leapt onto the windowsill, or as she like to call it the 'hangout spot'. The window was open halfway, so she slightly bent down and stuck her head through and nervously called, "Um, Emma? You around?"

A few moments went by before the sound of a door opening came. “Hello,” Emma said walking over to the window and greeting her friend, Brightstream “It’s nice to see you again.”
It had been awhile before they crossed paths again. Many things have changed between the two of them, clearly. They would have a lot to talk about.
((hard to reply, heh heh))

Brightstream nearly fell off of the hangout spot at the sound of a door opening. After she regain her balance, she saw Emma staring down at her. "Hi Emma!" Her tail swished from side to side in a friendly gesture, "I was begining to think that you didn't here me." She then lowered her head in a solemn way, which is what she always does when she's thinking. After a few minutes, she raised her head and mewed, "So...how have you been since we last met? Had any cats fainted when you talked to them?"
((I'm picturing this conversation is taking place sometime after rescuing the wolfpack. So if we time it up in real life, that'll be...about 5 or 6 months after we did the wolfpack. Man, it's been a long time since Emma and Brightstream last saw each other!))

((That reminds me; maybe we should put together a sort of board timeline, just so we can organize things. Since the only event we currently have reference to is the wolf rescue, lets start with that. The board time would be how long after that? Five or six months sounds fine enough, I suppose, but that would also mean that a lot of apprentices would now be warriors, and the same with kits aging up. I'm keeping Demon and Pitch where they are for now, since it's funner and they were only just apprentices, so they'll be expecting a warrior cerimony soon. *ponders* Guess it's time to go start another thread.))

Emma giggled when Brightstream asked if any cats fainted. “No, none has yet. Things have been good around here. I got a new job... Almost like a medical cat apprentice.” She said thinking about her job at the hospital as a nurse, helping the trauma victims and urgent care patients. She smiled and asked the young she-cat, “How have you been lately?”

((Well, actually I was going with real life time, not rp time. But we can do 5 moons later. We could pretend that the apprentices on the old site were, like, newly made apprentices. Or something like that...))
Brightstream sighed, "Let's just say that things have been pretty though for me ever since we've saved that wolfpack." She stared into nothingness as she remembered how the entire clan argued and yelled at her about her human friend. She also remembered how her brother and most of her friends completely turned their back on her when she told them about Emma.
She then cocked her head in a curious way, "So you're a medicine cat-or in this case human-apprentice? Cool! How long have you been an apprentice? Who's your mentor? Does he or she teach you which herbs to use? Do you have dreams and omens from Starclan, or whatever you believe in? And can you..." She took a deep breath before continuing, "Can you have a...uh, well...a mate?" She then licked a patch of chest fur, which is what many cats do when they feel embarrassed.

Emma smiled as Brightstream bombarded her with questions. She tried to remember all of them and answered them in order. “I’ve been working at my current job for about two months. My mentor would probably be all the doctors who have more experience than me.” Emma said, thinking of the doctors that she helps. “They teach me how to use things correctly, and yes, about how much medicine to give to the patients. No, we do not have omens or dreams, even though that would probably make the job a lot easier because then we would know what was coming at us.”
Emma laughed; she had a red face when her cat friend asked her if she was still able to have a mate. “Yeah, if I want one and find a guy I can have a mate.”

Brightstream's eyes grew wide with fascination. "Wow! That sounds amazing! And sorry for that last question." She began to laugh, "I get really curious, and I know that you all do things so differently then the Clan cats do." She then stared t Emma with curious eyes once more. "Doctor? I'm guessing that's the human name for medicine cat...or human. And you doctors and doctor apprentices don't share dreams and have omens? I thought that whoever works with medicine also recieve signs from whatever they believe."
