Name:Smokepaw
Gender: Male
Rank: Apprentice
Age: Seven moons
Appearance: Smokepaw is a grey tom, small for his age and very skinny. He has light grey fur, with very dark tabby stripes, and one white paw. His eyes are light blue, but they seem to get darker when he is angry. He is very light and his bones seem very small, almost like a bird. This makes him very agile and fast, but his strength suffers for it. His voice is very soft and quiet.
Personality: Smokepaw is very quiet and introverted. He'll talk if another cat speaks to him first, and he will accept any challenge another apprentice gives him, but other than that he keeps to himself. He has an odd fear of falling, so he tries to avoid hunting squirrels or birds. The only times he ever gets angry is if he's being teased; then he mutters angrily to himself and sulks.
History: Smokepaw was born in DiamondClan, the kit of Snowveil and Silvershadow. He had a sister, Tinykit, but she was too weak to survive her first winter. Smokekit was too young to understand that she was dead, so Snowveil told him that she was sleeping and would wake up in newleaf. When newleaf came and Tinykit didn't come back, Smokekit was very angry with his mother. He ran away and hid for a day, intending only to make his mother worried, but he got lost returning to camp. He wandered onto RubyClan territory, where he was found by a patrol. He was kept there for almost a full moon, while the RubyClan cats tried to figure out how to bring him back. Eventually, they returned him at a Gathering, much to the embarasment of his parents.
RP example: Smokepaw crouched at the foot of the oak tree, staring up into the bare branches with unmistakable fear. A heavy weight slammed into his shoulder and he fell on his side into the damp snow, not even bothering to struggle.
"What's wrong?" Broadpaw sneered, glaring down at him in contempt. "I thought only kittypets were afraid to climb trees!"
The smaller apprentice glared at him. For one brief second, he realized how great it would be to climb to the top branch, to wipe that smirk off the older cat's face...
Then he remembered the dream. Falling, unable to stop, the ground rushing up to meet him...
"No!" he gasped, eyes staring wildly with terror. "I'll fall!" His ears rang with the other apprentices' mocking laughter, but the ground was firm beneath his paws, and he was safe.
